Cookie policy
Last updated: March 10, 2026
This page explains what browser-side storage AstroVeda uses now, what it does, and how that should expand if optional analytics or preference tools are added later.
1. Current storage model
AstroVeda currently uses a minimal storage model. In this phase, the site uses essential browser-side storage primarily for cookie notice acknowledgement and may use essential session continuity required for account and checkout flow behavior.
2. Consent state
When the cookie notice is accepted, AstroVeda stores a small browser value to avoid showing the same notice repeatedly on every page load. This storage is functional rather than advertising-related.
3. Essential operational storage
Checkout, account, and subscription workflows may rely on essential session or request continuity so that payment handoff, success, cancel, and confirmation states can be matched back to the correct AstroVeda account or reference.
4. No ad-tech layer in this phase
Analytics, ad targeting, cross-site marketing trackers, and behavioral advertising cookies are not part of the current AstroVeda foundation release.
5. Future categories if the service expands
If AstroVeda later adds optional analytics, remembered preferences, experimentation, or embedded third-party widgets, those categories should be described here with enough detail for users to understand purpose, duration, and provider involvement before they are enabled.
6. Managing or resetting browser storage
You can clear browser storage in your browser settings to reset the cookie notice state. Doing so may also clear essential continuity used by account or checkout workflows.
7. Relationship to the privacy policy
This cookie policy should be read together with the privacy policy. The privacy policy explains the broader treatment of account data, payment metadata, saved people, charts, and support information beyond browser-side storage alone.
