Terms of use

1. Service nature

AstroVeda is software for astrology-oriented calculation, storage, and interpretation support. It provides charting and interpretive tooling only. It does not provide medical, legal, therapeutic, tax, investment, immigration, or other regulated professional advice.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using AstroVeda, you agree to these terms and to the related privacy, cookies, shipping, and returns pages published on the site. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Accounts

Users are responsible for providing accurate registration details, maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials, and using the account only for lawful and authorized purposes.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the activity results from a verified service-side security issue.

4. Acceptable use

You may use AstroVeda for personal study, client preparation, educational review, and normal internal astrology workflow within the limits of your plan. You may not abuse the service, reverse engineer it in a hostile way, scrape it at scale, interfere with payment or calculation systems, or use it to upload unlawfully obtained personal data.

5. Birth data and accuracy

Chart output depends on the birth data entered by the user. If birth time is unknown, estimated, or inaccurate, house placement, ascendant, nakshatra pada, dasha interpretation, and other time-sensitive outputs may change materially. AstroVeda may show time-confidence or rectification warnings where relevant.

6. Saved people and third-party data

If you store another person’s details in the service, you represent that you are allowed to do so and that your use complies with applicable privacy, confidentiality, and professional obligations.

7. Plans, pricing, and access limits

AstroVeda may offer free and paid plans with different limits for saved people, reports, compatibility access, travel tools, and higher-priority calculations. Current plan details shown on the pricing or checkout pages form part of the live commercial offer.

Launch pricing, locked-in pricing, plan changes, and plan limits may vary by account history or payment state. Future pricing changes do not automatically cancel any locked-in price already recorded for an active subscriber, unless explicitly stated at the time of change.

8. Payment and activation

Card and PayPal subscriptions are intended to activate after successful payment confirmation reaches the AstroVeda system. Wire transfers remain pending until manually approved. Failed or cancelled transactions do not create a paid entitlement.

The service may rely on external providers and payment-routing infrastructure to complete this process. Temporary activation delays caused by provider callbacks, fraud review, or manual verification may occur.

9. Refunds and cancellations

Refund handling is subject to the separate returns page, applicable law, payment status, and whether access has already been activated or used. Subscription cancellation does not automatically erase historical chart or billing records that must be retained for legitimate operational reasons.

10. Intellectual property

The AstroVeda service, interface, branding, database structure, software logic, and original interpretation framework remain the property of the service operator or relevant licensors. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute substantial portions of the service or its source materials without authorization.

11. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features, prices, workflows, calculation methods, supported chart views, and integrations may evolve over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, uninterrupted provider uptime, or that every generated output will match every school of astrology or every workbook reference exactly.

12. Interpretation limits

Astrology output may be symbolic, interpretive, experimental, or educational in nature. Users remain responsible for how they interpret and act on any chart or compatibility output generated by the service.

13. Suspension and termination

Accounts may be restricted, suspended, or terminated for abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, scraping, payment manipulation, harmful automated access, or use that creates operational, legal, or reputational risk for the service.

14. Liability and disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AstroVeda is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or expectation-based losses arising from use of the service, data-entry mistakes, inaccurate birth data, provider downtime, or user reliance on interpretive output.

15. Governing business details

Formal business and notice details should be taken from the live operator information, invoice details, or payment communications associated with the service. If more specific jurisdiction clauses are required for launch, those should be added before wider commercial rollout.

16. Updates to these terms

These terms may be updated as the product grows. Continued use of AstroVeda after updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of the updated version unless applicable law requires a different process.
